This week we have been speaking to Steve, our Sales Manager
I have now been in the motor industry over 20 years working for a couple of large PLC groups and moving up the ranks from sales exec, to Sales controller , to business manager and now to Sales Management. Over the years you see allot of changes to the industry and about 10 years ago the Old autoparc was one of them. Giving customers a vast choice of individual motor dealers on one site was ground breaking and its concept worked for a few years. Latterly due to consumer demands this concept has needed to move with the times and this is where the NEW venture begins.

This new venture is huge just like 10 years ago when it originally started, but there is only ONE company now offering main dealer facilities and service over the 10 acre site, from the experienced staff we have, the majority are from main dealers from around the area.

This week we have been speaking to Louise one of our Sales Controller's
 I feel very fortunate to have been chosen to be a part of the new venture at the Autoparc, with over 20 years experience in the industry I am happy to bring my expertise to the business to train and coach new and less experienced colleagues. My experience over the years has been in a Main dealer network, my first position as a Sales Administrator was where I got a taste for the business and after a short time I had decided that I would prefer to be at the front end selling the product, I built up as much varied experience as possible from Contract Hire & Leasing, Finance management, Business to Business Sales, Retail sales and gradually worked my way up to ultimately running my own sales department selling new and used vehicles for a Main dealer franchise of a Plc Group.
This is a new challenge for me and a very exciting one, the Autoparc is everything I have known before but on a much larger scale, it has been a very easy transition we have a fantastic team here, energetic and conscientious, staff who are from dealership backgrounds previously and others who simply wanted a change of direction from where they were and wanted to join the Autoparc family.

PGA Golf Pro Sam Oliver Joins Autoparc |
PGA Professional Sam Oliver from Linden Hall Golf signs for Tyneside Autoparc.
 I am excited about joining the team at Tyneside Autoparc as they are a new concept in the North East and are certainly the biggest used car supermarket in the area. I have worked with Chris Denning for a number of years and I am as excited about this challenge as I know he is so together we will make a fantastic partnership.
I moved from Slaley Hall 12 months ago and am now heading the Linden Hall Golf and Country club which has gone from strength to strength over the past few months making it one of the North Easts leading Golf venues.
Over the coming months we will be working
closely and taking both businesses to the next level using the resources from both the motor industry and the golf world so watch this space!
